Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong investigative and analytical abilities with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with healthcare billing, coding, and reimbursement concepts.
• Experience with Epic, Cerner, or Meditech is desirable.
• Excellent communication and remote-work discipline.

Responsibilities

• Analyze hospital claims to identify discrepancies between expected and actual reimbursements.
• Investigate underpayments and variances, including coding errors and payer policy applications.
• Coordinate with insurance carriers to obtain information and resolve underpayments.
• Prepare documentation to support reimbursement recovery and post payments.
• Maintain records of investigations, trends, and outcomes for audit readiness.
