Job summary

Future Recruitment Ltd. is seeking an Area Sales Manager for the UK region in a remote/homebased role. The role focuses 80% on new business development and 20% on account management, driving growth and establishing strategic relationships across packaging markets.

The candidate will travel extensively (about 75% of working time) and engage face-to-face with customers, with a target portfolio contributing to revenue growth. A full driving license is required and EU travel is possible for events.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in B2B sales within packaging.
• 4–8+ years in sales, business development or account management.
• Experience selling technical/industrial products.
• Strong prospecting and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the UK (~75% of time).

Responsibilities

• Identify, target and win new UK customers across target segments.
• Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline and convert opportunities.
• Negotiate commercial offers with customers and coordinate with engineering for solutions.
• Manage full sales cycle from prospecting to onboarding of new customers.
• Grow existing accounts through cross-selling and up-selling where possible.
• Collaborate with Regional Sales Manager and Plant Managers on planning and reporting.
