Job summary

DS Smith is seeking an ambitious Account Manager to manage a portfolio across FMCG and industrial brands, driving retention and growth with value-led packaging solutions. You will collaborate with Design, Innovation, Sales and Operations to deliver tailored offerings.

This remote role requires regular travel across the Midlands and South West, strong negotiation and financial insight, and the ability to work independently within a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Proven success and experience in an Account Management role within FMCG/packaging.
• Full driving licence and ability to travel.
• Strong independent and remote-working capabilities with travel as needed.
• Excellent business acumen, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
• Experience analysing financial metrics and taking action.

Responsibilities

• Lead account plans to drive organic revenue growth and margin improvements.
• Build deep partnerships across the FMCG and industrial sectors.
• Coordinate with Design and Innovation to tailor sustainable packaging.
• Manage account metrics and provide accurate forecasts via CRM.
• Collaborate with regional sales and operations to maximise opportunities and supply chain efficiencies.
