Job summary

Chenega Technology & Modernized Solutions seeks a UI/UX Lead to drive user-centered design for government-facing platforms. This remote-friendly role collaborates with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to shape research, strategies, and outcomes.

You will design personas, workflows, and interaction patterns, ensure accessibility (Section 508), and translate insights into concrete design specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• 10+ years UX for large-scale software projects.
• Must pass Tier 2S background investigation and screening.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct research with agency customers, Fleet employees, suppliers, and other relevant users.
• Create personas, journeys, workflows, wireframes, prototypes, and interaction designs for GSAFleet.gov products.
• Establish and promote consistent user-experience patterns across GSAFleet.gov products and Managed Services.
• Conduct usability studies, interpret results, and recommend prioritized improvements to product backlogs.
• Incorporate Section 508 accessibility requirements into designs, prototypes, acceptance criteria, and usability validation.
• Work with Government Product Managers and Development Leads to define user-centered stories, acceptance criteria, and design specifications.
• Promote consistent patterns, accessible interfaces, and effective experiences across products and Managed Services.
• Assess released features using user feedback and task outcomes; refine designs based on evidence
• Other duties as assigned
