Job summary

PLANIT Group in Reston, VA seeks an experienced UI/UX Designer to shape user experiences for government-related software. You will create process flows, wireframes, and visual designs, translating complex requirements into intuitive interfaces across web and device platforms.

You will collaborate with developers, PMs, and stakeholders, develop UI specifications, and continually improve user paths while adhering to U.S. design standards and the need for efficient in-house maintenance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in UX/UI design or similar role.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Bootstrap.
• Basic JavaScript and CSS preprocessors (Less/Sass).
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Create flows, wireframes, and visual designs.
• Develop UI specs and interface details.
• Engage stakeholders to define objectives and feedback.
• Modernize graphics and improve user paths.
• Support testing and iterate designs.
