GrowthAssistant, LLC is seeking a remote UGC Video Editor to craft hook-driven, conversion-focused ad videos for paid social channels. You will turn light briefs and raw footage into multiple ad variations with creative autonomy and fast turnaround.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of performance editing experience, a strong ad portfolio, and fluency with direct response storytelling. This is a fully remote, global role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years editing performance video ads for DTC brands or agencies.
• A portfolio with diverse paid ad work for DTC/ecom brands.
• Deep fluency with hook structure, narrative arc, and CTA in paid UGC.
• Proficient in Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, CapCut.
• Strong judgment to edit from light briefs and high-volume projects.

Responsibilities

• UGC Ad Editing: edit hook-driven, conversion-focused UGC-style ads.
• Working from Light Briefs: create multiple ad variations from raw footage.
• Direct Response Fundamentals: apply framing for retention and CTA.
• Independent Creative Calls: select clips, structure transitions, overlays.
• Variation Production: produce multiple ad variants per footage set.
• AI Creative Tools: use AI tools to accelerate production and expansion.
• Pre-Submission QA: check for typos, blank frames, off-brief edits.
• Proactive Communication: flag blockers and provide real-time updates.
• Performance-Driven Iteration: adjust edits based on ad performance data.
