Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in public school environment as a TVI.
• State-specific educator license in Visual Impairments or related field.
• Ability to work independently with availability during typical school hours (about 20 hours/week).
• Experience teaching in an online/virtual environment.
• Strong familiarity with assistive technology for those with visual impairments.
• MS365 proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide services to eligible students with visual impairments as determined by IEPs.
• Collaborate with IEP team; communicate with parents and teachers to schedule attendance.
• Maintain progress reports, treatment plans, and other required documentation.
• Utilize assistive technology and accessible materials to support learning.
• Serve as Teacher of Record for assigned caseload.
• Work from a professional home office with a structured schedule.
• Respond to families and learning coaches/parents in a timely manner.
