Job summary

ITC Federal, LLC is seeking a ServiceNow CMDB Engineer to support a Department of State program. You will own discovery, service mapping, and CMDB data health, integrating HAM/SAM and asset data to maintain accurate configuration data across cloud and on-prem environments.

The role requires a TS clearance, strong scripting in JavaScript, and experience building CMDBs from the ground up. You’ll collaborate with architects, developers, and federal stakeholders while working primarily remote with

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on ServiceNow experience with CMDB/Discovery.
• Experience configuring Discovery—MID Servers, credentials, schedules, and patterns.
• Knowledge of CMDB class structure, relationships, identification and reconciliation rules.
• Experience building a CMDB from the ground up and data governance.
• Experience building or maintaining integrations feeding the CMDB (IntegrationHub, Service Graph Connectors, REST/SOAP).
• Scripting ability in ServiceNow—JavaScript and Glide APIs.
• Understanding enterprise infrastructure: servers, networking, cloud resources.
• Clear written and verbal communication; able to explain data quality to non-technical stakeholders.
• Must live within commuting distance of Foggy Bottom, DC; onsite availability as requested.

Responsibilities

• Discovery & Service Mapping: configure, run, tune ServiceNow Discovery (MID Servers, schedules, credentials, probes, sensors, patterns).
• Build and maintain application service maps reflecting service relationships.
• Troubleshoot discovery gaps and expand coverage across on-premises and cloud infra.
