Job summary

Planned Parenthood North Central States is seeking a Triage Registered Nurse to provide remote patient care from MN, IA, or NE, advancing the mission through phone, text, and video support. Under the Triage Manager, you handle clinically oriented questions from established patients while ensuring high-quality care before and after clinic visits.

This full-time, hourly role offers on-call parity and union representation (SEIU).

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure for MN, IA, or NE.
• Ability to obtain RN licensure in additional states within our affiliate.

Responsibilities

• Responds to medical questions and concerns of established patients via phone, email, portal and other virtual methods.
• Completes post procedure follow up calls after Colposcopy, IUC and implant procedures.
• Provides patient education and assists follow up plans.
• Documents calls per approved protocols and RN standards.
• Directs patients to appropriate community resources or urgent care.
• Participates in after-hours triage rotation with shared call schedule.
• Manages birth control refill requests via phone and online.
