Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Remote Triage RN Access for part-time night shifts (20 hours/week) with weekend requirements. Remote work is available in IL, IN, IA, MO, and WI. You’ll triage patient needs, document in the EMR, and coordinate with providers to ensure timely care.

Responsibilities include customer-focused communication, prioritizing calls, and participating in quality improvement projects while supporting a patient-first culture.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited RN program.
• 2 years of ambulatory care experience.
• Registered Nurse License issued by State of Illinois.
• Current AHA BLS Provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Triage all incoming calls and electronic messages, prioritizing and resolving.
• Document all communications in the medical record.
• Schedule patient visits with providers per protocol.
• Assist in scheduling appointments and orientation of new staff.
