Job summary

Lithic is hiring Software Engineers for the Treasury team to own initiatives end-to-end, from planning to launch, while deepening domain knowledge of payments and ledger systems. You will work on backend services that manage the flow of funds, with a cloud-native stack centered on AWS and Python, and you will help ensure reliability and correctness at scale.

The role offers remote work within the United States and select international locations, with equity and a competitive salary in the US

Qualifications

• Experience describing complex financial systems and their integration points.
• Ability to design reliable distributed systems with a focus on correctness.
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced fintech setting.

Responsibilities

• Own initiatives from planning to launch with stakeholders aligned on quality.
• Learn business domains and tech stacks to build a mental model of Treasury ecosystem.
• Improve system resilience and reliability of Lithic's ledger and funds flows.
• Lead architectural direction and scale high-stakes infrastructure.
