Job summary

Aduro Advisors is seeking a detail-oriented Treasury Associate to support day-to-day treasury operations for venture capital and private equity fund clients. You will process wires and ACHs, maintain documentation, and ensure policy compliance while collaborating with fund accounting and other teams.

This role offers hands-on treasury exposure, a supportive environment, and growth opportunities as Aduro expands its treasury function across the US.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in treasury operations, finance, or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field – or additional related experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• Good organizational and time management skills; ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Familiar with Treasury Management systems, banking portals, G-suite, Microsoft Office, Box, Slack.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily treasury operations: processing wires, ACH payments, and other payments.
• Execute payment instructions and ensure proper documentation and record-keeping.
• Identify and elevate potential client service issues to the Treasury Manager/Head of Treasury.
• Adhere to treasury policies and regulatory requirements.
• Utilize treasury management systems and banking portals for daily tasks.
• Support reconciliation activities and prepare basic treasury reports.
• Work with fund accounting teams on processing client cash transactions.
• Collaborate with Accounting and People Ops for seamless operations.
• Suggest minor process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Support the Treasury Manager and Head of Treasury on ad hoc projects.
