Job summary

LAZ Parking is seeking a National Transportation Underwriter to evaluate, develop, and underwrite transportation and mobility contract opportunities across the United States. This role coordinates with LAZ Regions, Operations, Finance, Legal, and HR to ensure proposals are financially sound and operationally achievable.

Location is remote; compensation is $120,000 annually with an annual bonus. The position requires strong expertise in transportation pricing, budgeting, and cross-functional

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in transportation, mobility, parking, shuttle, transit, or related field.
• Experience developing or reviewing transportation operating budgets.
• Experience with RFPs, bids, proposals, contracts, or transportation pricing preferred.
• Experience with multi-location or national transportation operations preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, transportation, operations or related discipline preferred; equivalent experience may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Review RFPs and bid opportunities for transportation operations.
• Develop assumptions and identify cost impacts on operating budgets.
• Create staffing and labor cost models including wages and benefits.
• Evaluate fleet costs, maintenance, fuel, and technology.
• Support pricing strategy and BAFO negotiations.
• Prepare underwriting handoffs to implementation and region teams.
