Job summary

LAZ Parking seeks a National Transportation Underwriter to evaluate, develop, and underwrite transportation and mobility contract opportunities across the United States. Location: Remote.

You will coordinate with Regions, Operations, Finance, Safety, Fleet, HR, Legal, and Procurement to ensure proposals are financially sound, operationally feasible, and properly structured before submission. Compensation: $120,000 annually with an annual bonus.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional experience in transportation, mobility, parking, shuttle, transit, bus operations, or related industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, transportation, operations, or related field preferred.
• Experience with transportation operating budgets, RFPs, bids, proposals, contracts, or pricing preferred.
• Strong ability to analyze budgets, staffing, fleet costs, and profitability scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Review RFPs and bid opportunities.
• Develop operating budgets and staffing/cost models.
• Evaluate margins, contingencies, and escalation assumptions.
• Assist in pricing with region leadership and BAFO negotiations.
• Document assumptions and underwriting handoff.
