Job summary

QXO in Dallas is seeking a Transportation Safety Leader to implement and manage the enterprise Transportation Safety Program, ensuring DOT, FMCSA, OSHA compliance, and driver qualification.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, deliver safety training, and analyze KPIs while deploying safety technologies such as telematics and dashboards. This full-time role offers competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Transportation, Logistics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of transportation safety, fleet operations, risk reduction, regulatory compliance, or related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, OSHA regulations.
• Experience implementing safety programs/policies/technologies in field environments.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building across organization levels.
• Strong analytical and technology skills with data-driven improvement focus.

Responsibilities

• Implement and support QXO's enterprise Transportation Safety Program within an assigned business unit.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and other applicable transportation safety regulations.
• Administer driver qualification, hours-of-service compliance, collision mitigation, and telematics programs.
• Monitor transportation safety performance and identify opportunities to improve program effectiveness.
• Partner with EHS teams to implement new safety processes, technologies, and initiatives.
• Support change management and adoption of transportation safety best practices.
