Leidos seeks a Transmission Line Engineer to join a dynamic team tackling high-voltage transmission projects for major utilities. You will design overhead and underground lines, apply standards, and prepare drawings, specs, and procurement documents using PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's in Civil (or Mechanical) Engineering with 2+ years of experience, strong communication, and the ability to work in a team or independently.

Formación

• Bachelor’s in Civil (preferred) or Mechanical Engineering with 2+ years of experience in electric utility transmission design.
• Experience using PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE.
• Strong interpersonal/written communication and ability to work in a team or independently.

Responsabilidades

• Execute design tasks for high-voltage transmission lines per codes and standards.
• Prepare and review technical drawings, specs, and calculations under leads or PMs.
• Perform analyses including PLS-CADD modeling and structure loading.
• Contribute to process improvements and learn new tools/automation.
• Coordinate project progress with the PM to meet schedule and budget.
• Maintain proficiency in industry software and Leidos design processes.
