Job summary

Actalent, a leading engineering and sciences services company, seeks a transmission工程er to perform design and analysis for transmission line projects. You will model designs, prepare construction documents, and coordinate with internal teams and clients to drive project success.

The role emphasizes leadership, training, and mentoring of junior engineers, with opportunities to lead transmission projects from inception to completion.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of transmission line engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (ABET).
• Master's degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (ABET) will count toward years of experience.
• PE license desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Engineering and design activities related to transmission line design including analysis, route selection, material acquisition, and project/construction management.
• Prepare project construction documents such as plan and profile drawings, design drawings, specifications, schedules and BOMs.
• Develop project design alternatives and corresponding cost estimates.
• Design transmission facilities from 12 kV to 765 kV and model with PLS‑CADD.
• Lead contractor bid and construction meetings and ensure work aligns with plans, schedules, and client standards.
