Job summary

LVI Associates is seeking a Transmission & Distribution Engineering Manager for a fully remote role within the United States. This senior position leads a team of engineers and designers on utility line design projects, providing technical guidance and QA/QC oversight while coordinating with clients and internal teams.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 7+ years in T&D line engineering, and hands-on experience with PLS-CADD.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
7+ years of experience in transmission and/or distribution line engineering.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of engineers and designers on transmission and distribution line design projects.
Oversee project delivery to ensure quality, timelines, and client expectations are met.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship, including QA/QC oversight and engineering best practices.
Coordinate with internal teams and utility clients to track project progress and resolve challenges.
Review and approve design packages across voltage levels, scopes, and structure types.
Support resource planning and project staffing across active workstreams.
Partner with leadership on team development and new project opportunities.
Participate in client-facing discussions, presentations, and business development as needed.
