Job summary

Planet Depos, LLC is seeking a Transcription Project Manager to coordinate transcription jobs through multiple stages, review audio, assign tasks, and communicate with reporters, transcribers, and clients. The role demands strong organization and professional judgment in a fast-paced environment.

The position is remote with an EST shift from 1:00pm to 9:00pm, Monday–Friday. Compensation is $50,000 per year, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or 3+ years’ experience in an office or customer-service setting.
• Transcription experience preferred.
• Superb written and verbal communication skills; strong attention to detail.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills; good judgment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.
• Must work in a professional and confidential environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive and review audio/files from reporters and resources.
• Assign transcription and scoping tasks; coordinate statuses.
• Communicate with resources regarding audio/transcript status and client requests.
• Provide feedback on job submissions.
• Monitor department inbox; respond to client questions.
• Handle transcription-related phone calls.
• Coordinate deliverables with Operations departments.
• Provide cost estimates to clients; explain transcription requests.
• Maintain up-to-date information in databases and job boards.
• Quality-check, format, and finalize transcripts.
• Suggest workflow improvements using process changes or technology.
• Other duties as assigned.
