The position is remote with a preference for candidates in the San Francisco Bay Area or Los Angeles, CA. Some travel to study locations will be required for launches and key checkpoints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• 3+ years of project management in on-site data collection or user studies.
• Strong budget and vendor management capabilities.
• Excellent communication with clients, team members, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of on-site data collection projects for user studies.
• Build and manage detailed project plans, schedules, staffing, and milestones.
• Forecast and track budgets; manage vendors/contractors and change requests.
• Create client-facing presentations and run status/update meetings.
• Coordinate on-site logistics, staffing, equipment, shipping, and access/security.
• Manage project team members, set expectations, track deliverables, and provide feedback.
• Ensure data quality and privacy compliance for study requirements.
• Maintain rigorous project documentation and reporting.
• Identify risks early and propose mitigation options with clear recommendations.
