Job summary

GovCIO is hiring a Production Training Support Specialist for the VA VR&E RES system. This fully remote role requires communicating complex concepts to diverse learners and delivering engaging virtual trainings.

You will maintain system knowledge, support customers and internal teams, and contribute to system enhancements. A Bachelor’s in communications or equivalent experience is expected, with Agile and Office 365 familiarity preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications or commensurate experience with training and support systems.
• Ability to convey complex technical concepts in simple terms.
• Strong relationship-building and time-management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written skills with attention to detail.
• Self-directed and proactive, anticipating learner questions and customer needs.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject matter expert on the VR&E RES system.
• Build strong functional knowledge of system processes.
• Deliver interactive, virtual technical training sessions.
• Provide best-in-class customer service and resolve questions and requests.
• Participate in system enhancement meetings as SME on updates.
• Analyze data discrepancies and report root causes to management.
• Create training materials based on customer support needs.
