Job summary

Azira is seeking a Sales Director, Tourism to lead and scale our tourism sales efforts from a remote U.S. hub. You will own revenue strategy and drive new business, expansion of existing accounts, and strategic relationships with DMOs and agency partners.

The role demands deep tourism industry expertise and a track record of data-driven, consultative selling. You’ll collaborate with marketing, product, and client success teams to optimize go-to-market plans, forecast performance, and close

Qualifications

• 7+ years of sales experience in the Tourism industry
• Proven success selling to DMOs and agency partners
• Strong background in media sales, ad tech, audience targeting, and measurement
• Consultative, solution-selling mindset with a track record of driving revenue growth
• Data-driven and analytical, with the ability to translate insights into business value
• Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Experience with programmatic advertising, location-based marketing, or data-powered media solutions preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop deep expertise in Azira’s products and value proposition for the Tourism market
• Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and consultative selling
• Build and maintain relationships with clients to understand objectives and deliver tailored solutions
• Grow and manage a healthy sales pipeline with accurate forecasting and performance reporting
• Lead pricing discussions, negotiate terms, and close contracts
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and client success teams to align strategy and improve sales processes
• Share market trends and client feedback to inform go-to-market plans
• Represent Azira at client meetings and industry events to expand relationships
