Job summary

ORC is seeking an experienced title reviewer to perform quality control reviews of title reports, verify chains of title, and document findings for title teams. This remote, full-time role supports nationwide projects and requires meticulous attention to detail.

You will collaborate with title leadership on training and calibration, manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines, and contribute to refining title standards and checklists.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience pulling title and title history.
• Experience analyzing titles, title reports, and verifying ownership, mortgages, liens, or judgments.
• Proficient reading deeds, legal descriptions, plats, easements, searching parcel data, and producing a chain of title.
• Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook) for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control reviews of title reports, abstracts, and title curative documents.
• Verify chains of title, legal descriptions, and encumbrance findings against source records.
• Document findings clearly and return actionable feedback to title teams.
• Track recurring issues and help sharpen title standards and checklists.
• Support escalated or complex title reviews.
• Partner with title leadership on training and calibration.
