Job summary

Compass International Holdings is seeking a Title Officer to join the Title Production team in a remote role serving the Denver, Colorado metropolitan area. This position requires deep knowledge of title examination, insurance guidelines, and strong collaboration with escrow and underwriting teams.

The ideal candidate has at least 10 years in the title insurance business, a Colorado Title Insurance License, and proven research and customer service skills to manage complex title transactions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct search and examine public records to determine title status.
• Review documents affecting title such as mortgages and deeds.
• Interpret real estate documents, maps, surveys and legal proceedings.
• Make insurability decisions conforming to guidelines and policies.
• Coordinate with escrow officers, underwriters and title team members.
• Maintain client relationships and support post-closing needs.
• Assist in policy production and respond to title issues as needed.
