Compass Integrated Services seeks an experienced Title Examiner/Title Officer to join our National Operations Title Production Team. This remote hybrid role combines title search and underwriting decisions across Colorado markets with client management and leadership support.

The role covers residential, commercial, and acreage examinations, with emphasis on complex title issues and rate calculations in a fully remote environment. Strong licensing and 7–10 years of CO experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active CO Title Producer license or willingness to obtain reciprocal licensing.
• 7–10 years of progressive experience in title examination, production and underwriting support in Colorado.
• Experience with Residential, Commercial and Acreage (metes and bounds) examinations.
• In-depth knowledge of CO statutes and title insurance regulations and underwriter standards.
• Proficiency with title plant systems (e.g., SKLD/Title Data) and Deed Plotter.

Responsabilités

• Conduct thorough searches and examinations of public records and title plants for residential, commercial, and acreage in Colorado.
• Review and interpret complex real estate documents, maps, mortgages, deeds and probates.
• Make insurability decisions and apply title endorsements; resolve objections and title defects.
• Calculate title product rates using underwriter manuals and filings.
• Collaborate with the Title Production Manager, Closing Officers, and Underwriters.
• Issue pro-forma policies and manage post-closing requests.
