Job summary

Compass Integrated Services seeks an experienced Title Examiner/Title Officer to join our National Operations Title Production Team in a remote hybrid role. You will conduct title searches, assess complex documents, and make underwriting decisions for Colorado markets, supporting rate calculations and policy production.

The role requires 7–10 years in title examination and licensing in CO, with leadership capabilities and strong client relations.

Qualifications

• Active Title Producer license in Colorado (or willingness to obtain reciprocal).
• 7–10 years of progressive experience in title examination, production, and underwriting support in Colorado.
• Experience across Residential, Commercial, and Acreage (metes and bounds) examinations.
• In‑depth knowledge of CO Statutes and Title Insurance Regulations.
• Proficiency with title plant systems (SKLD/Title Data) and Deed Plotter.
• Strong analytical, investigative, and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with a customer focus.
• Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough title searches and examinations across Colorado markets for residential, commercial, and acreage transactions.
• Review and interpret complex real estate documents, maps, surveys, mortgages, deeds, probate records and trusts.
• Make insurability decisions, apply title guidelines and resolve defects and objections.
• Calculate title product rates using underwriter manuals and filings in compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with Title Production Manager, Closings/Settlements Officers, and Underwriters.
• Issue pro‑forma policies and manage post‑closing title requests.
• Maintain high service levels with internal teams, real estate partners, and clients.
