Job summary

ENGIE North America Inc. is seeking a Legal & Title Analyst to support utility-scale renewable energy projects through title review, survey review, and curative actions.

This contract role involves coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with investor requirements. The position requires at least 5 years of experience in title review and land documentation, strong Excel skills, and the ability to manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience reviewing title commitments and related land documents.
• Experience coordinating with title companies, surveyors, lenders, and outside consultants.
• Experience reviewing ALTA/NSPS Surveys and interpreting legal descriptions.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel for tracking and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Review title commitments, proformas, and related land documents for utility-scale projects.
• Populate and maintain ENGIE's Title Review Excel Spreadsheet with vesting, title exceptions and encumbrances.
• Prepare Title Status Reports highlighting findings, risks, and financing considerations.
• Coordinate with title companies and provide redline comments to advance title policies.
• Attend project meetings and provide bi-weekly status updates.
