Job summary

ENGIE North America Inc. is seeking an experienced Legal & Title Analyst to support utility-scale renewable projects through title review, survey review, and curative actions.

You will work with Development, Land, Legal, and Finance teams, along with title companies and lenders, to ensure documentation meets financing requirements. You will review title commitments, proformas, and land agreements, maintain ENGIE's Title Review Excel, and prepare status reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience reviewing title commitments, title policies, land agreements, easements, surveys, and real estate documentation.
• Strong written communication and ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Review title commitments, proformas, site control instruments, and related land documentation for utility-scale energy projects.
• Populate and maintain ENGIE's Title Review Excel Spreadsheet with title requirements and tracking.
• Prepare Title Status Reports summarizing findings, deficiencies, risks, and financing considerations.
• Coordinate with title companies and provide redline comments to advance title policies.
• Review ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys to verify compliance with investor and lender requirements.
• Evaluate easements, utility corridors, site access rights, and constructability impacts.
• Coordinate approved title curative actions with landowners, utilities, lenders, and stakeholders.
• Support mineral title review activities and obtain documentation for mineral coverage.
• Attend project meetings and provide bi-weekly status updates.
