Job summary

LCS Financial Services Corporation is hiring for Remote Collections Specialists. This role requires at least 2 years in third-party debt collection and offers a 100% remote work arrangement with performance-based commissions.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, with standard business hours, and comprehensive benefits. You will build rapport, negotiate settlements, and ensure regulatory compliance from a home office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of third-party debt collection experience.
• Strong negotiation, persuasion, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to manage collection accounts and negotiate payment arrangements.
• Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and telephone etiquette.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
• Working knowledge of applicable debt collection laws and regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to maintain a professional, distraction-minimized remote workspace.
• Must reside in an LCS-approved state.

Responsibilities

• Managing inbound and outbound collection calls to negotiate resolutions on delinquent accounts.
• Negotiating payment arrangements and settlement agreements based on borrowers' financial circumstances.
• Utilizing skip-tracing tools to locate borrowers and assets.
• Managing assigned account portfolios and prioritizing collection activities.
• Consistently working toward individual and departmental performance goals.
• Maintaining accurate and detailed account documentation.
• Delivering professional, respectful customer interactions during difficult conversations.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable collection laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintaining communication with management and team members while working remotely.
