Job summary

LCS Financial Services Corporation is seeking an experienced Remote Collections Specialist to join our nationwide team. You will manage inbound and outbound calls, negotiate resolutions, and build rapport with borrowers while maintaining compliance and confidentiality in a home office setting.

Qualified candidates have at least 2 years in third-party debt collection, strong negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of third-party debt collection experience.
• Strong negotiation, persuasion, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to work independently while meeting team goals.
• Excellent verbal communication and telephone etiquette.
• Working knowledge of applicable debt collection laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound collection calls to negotiate resolutions on delinquent accounts.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and settlement agreements based on borrowers' financial circumstances.
• Utilize skip-tracing tools to locate borrowers and relevant assets.
• Manage assigned account portfolios and prioritize collection activities to maximize recovery opportunities.
• Maintain accurate and detailed account documentation.
• Deliver professional, respectful customer interactions while navigating difficult conversations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local collection laws and company policies.
• Maintain consistent communication with management and team members while working remotely.
