Job summary

ThermalWorks is seeking a Remote United States-based Thermal Systems Technical Documentation Engineer. You will draft, edit, and maintain comprehensive IOM manuals for advanced thermal management systems, while standardizing submittal workflows for customers and contractors.

You will develop SOO documents with precise sensor IDs and thresholds for field use. You will analyze heat transfer and energy conversion components, and translate complex concepts into user-friendly docs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, heat transfer, and energy conversion.
• Experience with warranty, service docs, or customer-facing manuals is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead drafting, editing, and improving IOM manuals for thermal management systems.
• Create and manage standardized submittal packages for customers and contractors.
• Develop precise SOO documents with correct sensor IDs and deactivation thresholds.
• Explain heat transfer and energy conversion concepts for user-facing docs.
• Prepare, review, and edit project and customer reports with timelines and milestones.
• Collaborate with R&D and product teams to extract specs for documentation.
