Job summary

Thermal Works LLC is seeking a hands-on Product Testing Technician to support R&D lab operations and equipment testing. You will set up, operate, test, and troubleshoot thermal systems and components used in product development and validation.

Ideal candidates have strong field experience in refrigeration, hydronic systems, and electrical power, and are comfortable working in a lab environment where systems are frequently built, modified, and tested.

Qualifications

  • Must have hands-on experience with refrigeration systems.
  • Strong working knowledge of hydronic systems and related pumps/valves.
  • Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs.
  • Proven troubleshooting ability across mechanical and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and modify thermal system test loops.
  • Perform hands-on testing, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
  • Support development and execution of test procedures.
  • Collect and validate performance data (temperature, flow, pressure, power).
  • Identify issues and support root cause analysis.
  • Assist with system improvements and design feedback.
  • Maintain lab equipment and testing infrastructure.
  • Ensure safe handling of refrigerants and compliance with regulations.
