Job summary

Talkiatry is seeking independently licensed therapists for 100% remote, outpatient practice. You will manage a defined caseload with standard 60-minute sessions, supported by full administrative and billing help.

Ideal candidates hold active licenses in multiple states and demonstrate strong clinical judgment and autonomous decision-making within an evidence-based framework. This role emphasizes remote care and a stable outpatient environment.

Qualifications

• Independently licensed therapists (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC or equivalent)
• Active, unrestricted license (multi-state licensing support available)
• Two or more independent and active state licenses (except for CA, NY and MA)
• Comfort managing a consistent outpatient caseload
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and independent decision-making
• Comfort practicing in a fast-paced but sustainable outpatient environment
• Experience from outpatient, community mental health, hospital, IOP, or other structured clinical settings (highly desired)
• Experience with structured, skills-based modalities (CBT, ACT, MI, DBT-informed care)
• Not designed for supervision toward licensure or private practice; you will be part of our team

Responsibilities

• 100% remote, outpatient therapy
• Lower to moderate acuity populations (e.g., anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, mood disorders, OCD)
• 60-minute intakes and follow-ups
• Consistent outpatient caseload with defined, transparent goals
• No inpatient, IOP/PHP, or crisis-call responsibilities
• In-house referral network to/from psychiatrists
• Full operational support including scheduling, billing, intake coordination, credentialing, and licensing
