Job summary

OptumCare is seeking a compassionate Therapist to join our Iowa team as a remote, 1099 contractor. You’ll deliver short‑term, evidence‑based care and coordinate follow‑ups while maintaining HIPAA standards.

You’ll work with a multidisciplinary team, documenting progress and guiding participants through resources, consent, and access to care. Previous CBT/DBT experience is preferred; eligible for Medicare enrollment is required.

Qualifications

• Licensed clinical or counseling credential (LCSW/LPC/LMHC) or state equivalent.
• Medicare enrollment eligibility or ability to terminate opt-out prior to starting.
• Ability to maintain a consistent minimum of 10 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Deliver remote care throughout a short‑term outcome and evidence‑based program.
• Monitor participant progress and document session notes with care coordination recommendations.
• Assist participants with accessing resources and obtaining consent/authorization forms.
• Identify and respond to high‑risk encounters following company protocols.
• Attend regular meetings with supervisors, monthly team meetings and Town Halls.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and complete annual training requirements.
• 1099 Independent contractor.
