Job summary

Optum, part of the AbleTo family, offers a telehealth role delivering remote behavioral health care across the U.S. You will work as a clinician under a 1099 independent contractor arrangement, applying evidence-based protocols to help participants build lasting skills.

The position requires an LCSW/LPC/LMHC license (or equivalent) and a commitment of at least 10 hours per week. You will collaborate with a care team and adhere to HIPAA and company policies.

Qualifications

• Licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) or licensed professional counselor (LPC) / licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) or state equivalent.
• Ability to maintain a consistent minimum of 10hrs a week.
• Current eligibility to enroll in Medicare or ability to terminate opt-out prior to starting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver remote care within a short-term, evidence-based program.
• Monitor participant progress and document session notes.
• Coordinate access to resources and obtain consent/authorization forms.
• Identify high-risk situations and follow safety protocols.
• Participate in regular supervisor and team meetings.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and complete annual training.
• 1099 Independent contractor.
