Job summary

Global Impact Group LLC is seeking Thai Over-the-Phone Interpreters (OPI) to support our USCIS contract. Thai is a priority language frequently needed for asylum, refugee, and immigration interviews.

Provide real-time Thai-English telephonic interpretation for USCIS interviews, hearings, and official proceedings, while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. Remote work with USCIS-approved platforms, paid training, and advancement opportunities are included.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in Thai and English.
• 2+ years of professional interpreting experience (immigration, legal, community, or government preferred).
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident eligible for Tier 3/Tier 5 federal clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time Thai English telephonic interpretation for USCIS interviews, hearings, and official proceedings.
• Interpret with accuracy, impartiality, and professionalism in immigration, legal, and administrative contexts.
• Maintain confidentiality in line with USCIS/DHS interpreter standards.
• Handle both scheduled assignments and urgent/surge calls.
• Participate in training, compliance refreshers, and QA audits.
