Job summary

Global Impact Group LLC is seeking Mongolian Over-the-Phone Interpreters (OPI) to support our USCIS contract. Provide real-time Mongolian-English telephonic interpretation for USCIS interviews, hearings, and asylum cases.

Candidates must be native or near-native in Mongolian and English, with 2+ years of interpreting experience, strong ethics and confidentiality, and cultural understanding. Remote work is available through USCIS-approved systems.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in Mongolian and English.
• 2+ years of professional interpreting experience (immigration, asylum, government preferred).
• Strong knowledge of interpreter ethics, confidentiality, and impartiality standards.
• Cultural understanding of Mongolian-speaking communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time Mongolian-English telephonic interpretation for USCIS interviews, hearings, and asylum cases.
• Interpret accurately, impartially, and with professionalism in immigration and legal contexts.
• Maintain strict confidentiality under USCIS/DHS interpreter standards.
• Support both scheduled assignments and urgent/surge interpretation needs.
• Participate in training, compliance refreshers, and quality assurance audits.
