Job summary

Hired Remoteli is seeking a Textile Designer - Soft Home to join its design team, supporting development of trend-right, commercially driven soft home products for major U.S. retailers and licensed brands.

This remote role focuses on print, pattern, color, and textile-driven design across bedding, pillows, throws, bath, and related items, with collaboration across Creative, Product Development, Sales, and Licensing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, Graphic Design, or related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in soft home textile design.
• Strong portfolio of print, pattern, and color work.
• Experience working with U.S. retailers strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Understanding of textile production processes.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Create print, pattern, and textile designs for bedding, pillows, throws, bath, and related soft home products.
• Conduct trend research across home, fashion, and lifestyle categories.
• Develop seasonal and everyday color palettes and pattern stories.
• Create CAD artwork, repeats, placements, and colorways.
• Leverage AI tools for ideation and pattern exploration.
• Prepare design presentations for internal and customer reviews.
• Collaborate with Creative, Product Development, Sales, and Licensing teams.
• Assist with sample revisions, strike-offs, lab dips, and approvals.
• Communicate with overseas factories regarding artwork execution.
• Manage multiple projects in a remote environment.
