Job summary

Comfrt is seeking a highly creative, hands-on Designer to build and grow our Home business, focusing on blankets, bedding, pillows, and sleep accessories. You will take products from concept through development, producing sketches, tech packs, and production-ready documentation, while collaborating with product development, sourcing, and vendors.

You will report to the Design Director of Home and help shape the creative and product vision for the Home category, thriving in a fast-moving

Qualifications

• 6-8+ years of product design experience in Home, soft goods, apparel, accessories, or adjacent categories.
• Strong experience creating tech packs, technical drawings, and production documentation.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Experience working with Product Development, Sourcing, overseas vendors, and factories.
• Strong understanding of the Home market, competitive landscape, customer, and emerging trends.
• Strong product design and visual communication skills.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working independently while partnering closely with cross-functional teams.
• Able to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and shifting priorities with a high level of ownership.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Home soft goods including blankets, bedding, pillows, sleep accessories.
• Translate concepts, trends, and inspiration into commercially relevant products reflecting the Comfrt brand.
• Create accurate hand and/or digital sketches, CADs, technical drawings, and production-ready tech packs.
• Develop and communicate color, print, pattern, material, and construction direction.
• Maintain accurate product specifications, artwork, materials, and construction details throughout development.
• Review samples, identify issues, and work with development partners to resolve them efficiently.
• Manage multiple products and development timelines from concept through production.
