Cathay Home Inc. is seeking a visionary Textile Designer to spearhead design initiatives for bedding, bath, and decorative pillows across major retailers.

You will bridge trend forecasting with production-ready lines, from mood boards to tech packs, while coordinating with global partners in SHO, INO, and PAK to ensure quality and brand integrity. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in soft home design, a design degree, and expert Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop skills, with a proven ability to source

Qualifications

• 5 years in Textile Design for Soft Home Goods.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Textiles.
• Expert-level Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Proven fabric sourcing at trade fairs.
• Versatile design style for multiple brand aesthetics.
• Strong knowledge of textile constructions and finishing.
• Excellent presentation skills to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Research and translate global home fashion trends into saleable product collections.
• Create original prints, patterns, and weaves for bedding and bath.
• Generate technical design packs with construction, fabrics, colorways, repeats.
• Collaborate daily with Sales, Merchandising and Product Dev to align with brand needs.
• Coordinate with overseas teams to approve production standards.
• Prepare mood boards and present concepts to internal execs and major retailers.
