Texas Licensed Attorney | Fully Remote Within Texas

MW Talent is partnering with a high-volume personal injury law firm to hire a Lead Litigation Attorney licensed in Texas. This is a fully remote opportunity for an attorney who resides in Texas.

This role is for an experienced personal injury litigation attorney with strong courtroom, case strategy, and leadership experience. The Lead Litigation Attorney will build, lead, and develop a team of litigation attorneys while managing complex personal injury matters from filing through resolution.

Candidates with active licenses in multiple states are highly desired.

This role is ideal for an attorney who has handled a high-volume litigation caseload and is ready to take ownership of a growing litigation practice. The attorney will lead litigation strategy, mentor attorneys, improve internal processes, and help build a strong litigation team.

What You Will Do

• Build, lead, and manage a team of personal injury litigation attorneys
• Oversee complex personal injury cases from filing through trial or settlement
• Develop litigation strategy and provide direction on case value, liability, damages, and risk
• Manage and review pleadings, motions, discovery, depositions, mediations, and trial preparation
• Represent clients at hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
• Assign cases and monitor attorney workload, deadlines, and case progress
• Train, mentor, and support litigation attorneys and legal support staff
• Review attorney performance and provide ongoing guidance and feedback
• Work closely with case managers, paralegals, legal assistants, and pre-litigation teams
• Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, insurance carriers, experts, and court personnel
• Negotiate settlements and make recommendations on case resolution
• Identify issues that require escalation and provide strategic solutions
• Help develop litigation procedures, reporting standards, and team expectations
• Improve case management, communication, efficiency, and accountability across the litigation team
• Support the continued growth of the firm's litigation department

What We Are Looking For

• Active Texas bar license required
• Must reside in Texas
• 5+ years of personal injury litigation experience required
• Strong experience handling cases from filing through trial or settlement
• Prior leadership, management, or supervisory experience required
• Experience building or leading a team of litigation attorneys strongly preferred
• Multiple active state bar licenses highly desired
• Strong courtroom, deposition, mediation, negotiation, and trial preparation experience
• Ability to manage a high-volume and complex litigation caseload
• Strong legal writing, communication, leadership, and decision-making skills
• Experience mentoring attorneys and legal support professionals
• Strong knowledge of personal injury law, damages, liability, discovery, and civil procedure
• Organized and able to work independently in a remote environment
• Strong judgment and the ability to make timely case decisions
