Bush & Bush Law Group in Irving, TX, is seeking a Managing Attorney - Litigation Operations & Trial Director to lead the litigation department, drive attorney accountability, and ensure trial readiness across the Texas docket.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of personal injury litigation experience.
• 15+ jury trials to verdict; Board Certified in Personal Injury Law.
• Proven leadership and mentoring experience with attorneys and paralegals.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Extensive experience taking and defending depositions.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare attorneys and clients for deposition testimony.
• Commitment to excellence, ethical practice, and client-focused advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee litigation teams, providing guidance and direction to attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.
• Ensure efficient collaboration and timely completion of tasks across your team.
• Review pleadings, motions, and filings for quality and compliance standards.
• Monitor team performance, provide constructive feedback, and promote continuous improvement.
• Work with operations to resolve staff concerns and maintain a cohesive environment.
• Occasionally represent clients in depositions, mediations, hearings, trials, and appeals.
• Conduct legal research, memoranda, and advise on complex litigation matters.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop effective case strategies.
• Manage and prioritize caseloads to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Ensure attorney KPIs are consistently met.
• Lead litigation file reviews; develop action plans for stagnant files.
• Coordinate litigation strategy with Law & Motions department; assist with hiring.
• Improve department workflows and solve operational problems affecting litigation.

• Mentor litigation attorneys
• Coordinate litigation strategy with Law & Motions department

Qualifications:
