Qualifications

• JD or LLB from an accredited law school.
• Bar admission in Texas in good standing; others may be required for specific courts.
• 5+ years of insurance attorney experience, preferably in first party property damage or Texas Deceptive Practices Act.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of litigation for moderate to heavy value claims.
• Provide strategic oversight for Texas DTPA matters from assignment to resolution.
• Develop and implement discovery, negotiation, and trial preparation strategies.
• Utilize e-discovery tools and case management systems to streamline workflows.
• Advise clients and Claims Representatives with clear, well-reasoned opinions.
• Mentor junior attorneys and support staff; lead training sessions and workshops.
