Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions (functional, regression, API, and performance) across enterprise applications. The role emphasizes integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring 508 accessibility, and collaborating with DevSecOps and QA teams.

The candidate should have extensive experience with Selenium WebDriver, Java, Jenkins, Jira, and GitHub, plus SQL for data-driven testing.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business or technical discipline with 8+ years of software development, testing and quality assurance experience.
Hands-on test automation experience with Selenium WebDriver, Java, Jenkins, Jira, and GitHub Actions.
Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and with 508-accessibility requirements.
Experience with REST API testing and relational SQL for data-driven testing.

Responsibilities

Develop, execute, and maintain automated functional, regression, API, and performance test suites.
Design automated test frameworks and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate with developers, analysts, testers, and DevSecOps to ensure full test coverage.
Create and maintain data-driven test scenarios using relational SQL.
Monitor test execution and support defect identification and resolution.
