Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to support the Patient Care Services upgrade efforts. You will design, develop, and maintain automated functional, API, and performance tests and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines for enterprise applications.

This fully remote role in the United States requires strong Selenium WebDriver, Java, and DevSecOps collaboration, with eligibility for VA Public Trust and cross-functional teamwork to improve quality and coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline plus 8 years of experience in software development, testing and QA (or commensurate experience).
• Strong hands-on test automation experience using Selenium WebDriver, Java, Jenkins, GitHub, Jira and Xray (Jira plugin).
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and designing performance tests.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated functional and non-functional test suites.
• Develop automated API contract tests for REST services.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and monitor test execution.
