Job summary

Demco is seeking a Learning Environment Field Consultant to drive relationships with K–12 schools and public libraries from a remote, territory-based position. You will travel 4–5 days weekly to meet educators, showcase learning-space solutions, and uncover opportunities that align with customer needs.

In this role you’ll collaborate with design teams, take measurements, and support proposals with accurate data.

Qualifications

• K–12 sales experience and understanding of school purchasing processes.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent.
• Proven outbound prospecting, cold calling, and developing new business relationships.
• Willingness to travel 4–5 days per week.
• Strong verbal and written communication with educators and library professionals.
• Team player who collaborates across departments to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Adaptable to a fast-paced, evolving sales environment.
• Territory travel readiness and independence.

Responsibilities

• Review your pipeline each day and plan outbound call/email strategy.
• Reach out to K–12 schools and public libraries to uncover needs and opportunities.
• Travel 4–5 days per week within your territory to engage educators and librarians.
• Take measurements, capture photos, and collaborate with design teams on proposals.
• Represent the brand at regional tradeshows and grow presence in education and library markets.
• Log activity in CRM and coordinate next steps with internal teams.
