Job summary

Demco, Inc. is looking for a Learning Environment Field Consultant to drive K-12 and library sales from a remote, territory-based role. You will build relationships with educators and library leaders, connect them with innovative learning-space furniture and solutions, and pursue opportunities across your territory.

You’ll travel 4–5 days weekly, measure spaces, capture photos, and collaborate with design teams to ensure accurate proposals. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• K-12 sales experience with understanding of school purchasing processes and key decision-makers.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• Experience with outbound prospecting, cold calling, and developing new business relationships.
• Able to participate in tradeshows and assist with on-site installations or sample deliveries.
• Strong verbal and written communication; comfortable presenting to educators, administrators, and library professionals.
• Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment across departments.
• Excited to learn, grow, and navigate a fast-paced, evolving sales environment.
• Comfortable spending time on the road and overnight travel for customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Start your day by reviewing your pipeline and planning your outbound calls and emails.
• Connect with K-12 schools and public libraries to introduce learning space solutions and uncover opportunities.
• Travel 4–5 days per week to visit educators and library leaders in your territory.
• Visit customer sites to take measurements, capture photos, and coordinate with design teams.
• Occasionally participate in regional tradesshows to demonstrate solutions and grow the Demco brand.
• Log CRM activity and coordinate with internal teams on next steps for active opportunities.
