Job summary

DEMCO, Inc. is seeking a Learning Environment Field Consultant to drive K–12 school and public library relationships across a defined territory. This remote role blends outbound outreach with in-person visits to showcase learning-space solutions and furniture that inspire education.

You’ll travel 4–5 days a week, conduct needs assessments, partner with design teams, and attend regional tradeshows while logging activities in the CRM and pursuing new opportunities to meet quotas.

Qualifications

• K–12 sales experience with school districts and purchasing processes.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with outbound prospecting and developing new business.
• Willingness to travel 4–5 days a week.
• Strong verbal and written communication with educators and librarians.
• Team player and cross-department collaboration.
• Fast-paced, evolving sales environment.
• Comfortable with overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Start your day with purpose by reviewing your pipeline and planning your outbound strategy.
• Connect and engage with K–12 schools and public libraries to identify needs and opportunities.
• Get out in the field 4–5 days a week visiting educators and library leaders.
• Visit sites to take measurements, capture photos, and collaborate with design teams on proposals.
• Represent and network at regional tradeshows to grow brand presence.
• Log activity in the CRM and coordinate with internal teams on next steps to hit goals.
