Job summary

Demco is seeking a Learning Environment Field Consultant to drive K–12 school and public library partnerships across a remote, territory-based scope. You will spend 4–5 days a week in the field, building relationships with educators and administrators, presenting furniture and learning-space solutions, and capturing needs.

Travel will be essential as you visit sites, take measurements, and collaborate with design teams to ensure accurate, inspiring proposals.

Qualifications

• K–12 sales experience and understanding of school purchasing processes.
• Outgoing prospecting, cold calling, and new business development.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting to educators and librarians.
• Team player who works across departments to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Adaptable to fast-paced, evolving sales environments and travel.
• Willingness to travel territory 4–5 days a week and manage onsite installations.

Responsibilities

• Review pipeline at start of day and plan outbound calls and emails.
• Engage K–12 schools and libraries to introduce learning space solutions.
• Travel approximately 4–5 days per week within territory visiting educators and library leaders.
• Visit sites to take measurements, photos, and support design teams with proposals.
• Attend regional tradeshows to demonstrate solutions and grow brand presence.
• Log activities in CRM and coordinate with internal teams on next steps.
