Univar Solutions in the United States is seeking a motivated Sales Account Manager to join the Foodology (Food Ingredients) team. You will build long-term, value-based relationships with accounts and penetrate them for additional business while managing a defined territory.

The role requires 3+ years of sales experience in food ingredients, a technical mindset, and the ability to travel within the territory.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of sales experience in the Food Ingredients (raw chemicals) industry.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (Technical Science, Chemistry preferred but not required).
• Ability to travel within the assigned territory.
• Ability to nurture an extensive network of contacts.
• Strong business savvy and understanding of manufacturers, distributors, and end-users of chemicals.

Responsabilités

• Improve Univar’s position within each account using consultative selling at all levels.
• Prospect for new business by conducting sales calls to grow the territory.
• Focus on customer retention and overall customer satisfaction.
• Provide customer technical support and consultant services to increase value.
• Maintain a clear updated view of your sales pipeline.
• Set pricing and service levels and coordinate quotations with local branches.
• Coordinate with Local Sales, Purchasing, and Operations to ensure proper inventory levels.
• Demonstrate commitment to safety for yourself and colleagues.
